Hi, I’m Amelia.
I’m a coach, business owner and mum of three, based in Perth, Western Australia.
I’ve been coaching women and supporting them to reach their full potential in their business and lives for more than a decade. Before coaching, I studied Psychology at the University of Western Australia, completing my Bachelor degree and Honours, before going on to train in coaching, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness and other approaches to behaviour change and wellbeing.
When I work with my clients, I’m interested in what’s happening underneath the obvious problem.
Why we can know exactly what we should do and still not do it.
Why incredibly capable people can second-guess themselves.
Why certain situations bring out particular patterns in us.
And how we can actually change the way we respond rather than just understanding it intellectually.
More than a decade of coaching and business
I started coaching in 2013 and, over the years, my business has taken many different forms.
I’ve worked one-to-one with clients, run group programs and masterminds, taught corporate wellness workshops, created digital products and built an online audience and business of my own.
I understand business. And I understand people.
I know there is no one perfect business model, structure or strategy. I’m not here to tell you how to run your business.
I’m much more interested in helping you think clearly about your business, understand yourself within it, figure out what’s truly possible, and make decisions that make sense for what you’re trying to build and the life you actually want.

My relationship with ambition has changed.
Becoming a mother (I now have 3 kids!) changed the way I thought about work.
Not because I stopped being ambitious.
I still love business, doing good work and making money. I love workshopping ideas and growth and seeing what something could become.
But I’ve become much less interested in success that requires the rest of your life to revolve around it.
These days, I work privately with a small number of women while raising my children.
And that has made me even more interested in a question that comes up again and again in my coaching:
What do you actually want your business to give you?
Not what should it look like. Not how big could you make it. Not what would be most impressive.
What would make it genuinely successful for you?

How I coach
My coaching style is warm, curious, supportive and trauma informed. I’m 100% in your corner and willing to kindly call you to take a new perspective when need.
In my experience my clients need a range of different things from me:
A sounding board to make delicate or intimidating decisions
A space to untangle what’s feeling complicated or overwhelming
Tools and techniques to get clear on their values and support holding these front and centre in both life and business
Noticing where self-imposed limits or ingrained patterns are playing out in business and correcting these
A fresh perspective on challenges or opportunities
Support connecting with their inner knowing or a deeper sense of purpose
Encouragement and accountability as you go
I don’t use a rigid coaching framework or try to funnel every client through the same process.
The longer we work together, the more context I have: how you tend to make decisions, what happens when you’re under pressure, what you’re brilliant at, what you avoid, what matters to you and where you have a tendency to get in your own way.
That ongoing relationship is one of my favourite things about private coaching.

Outside work
I live in Perth with my husband and our three young children.
My weeks are full of family time, work, school runs, time with friends, a few gym sessions and (usually!) getting in to bed early with a good book. I love being outdoors and making our home and garden a beautiful place to be. While the juggle is very real at this stage of life, I’ve been very intentional about creating systems, getting support and building schedule that allows me to actually enjoy it (at least most of the time!).
Which is probably why I care so much about helping women build businesses that energise them instead of drain them and actually leave room for their lives outside of work as well.
